Former Trump White Home advisor Peter Navarro was indicted by a federal grand jury for contempt of Congress over his refusal to adjust to a subpoena issued by the Home choose committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, riot on the U.S. Capitol.
Navarro, 72, had refused to look on Feb. 23 in response to the subpoena and likewise refused to supply paperwork sought by that subpoena, in response to the indictment.
Navarro served as a commerce advisor to former President Donald Trump.
