New York man sentenced to 15 years in prison for support to Islamic State -Breaking

(Reuters) – A Uzbekistan citizen who’s a resident of New York Metropolis who was convicted of conspiring to and trying to offer materials assist to Islamic State was sentenced to fifteen years in jail on Friday, the U.S. Justice Division stated.

Dilkhayot Kasimov, 34, was convicted of each counts following a trial in 2019. He was charged in 2015.
