WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. Justice Division has determined to not cost Mark Meadows and Dan Scavino, two former officers in ex-President Donald Trump’s White Home, for failing to cooperate with a Home panel investigating the Jan. 6 assault on the Capitol, the New York Occasions reported on Friday.
The newspaper cited a letter from the U.S. Lawyer for the District of Columbia Matthew Graves to Home Basic Counsel Douglas Letter by which he stated “my workplace won’t be initiating prosecutions for prison contempt” in opposition to Meadows, Trump’s former chief of workers, and Scavino, a former deputy chief of workers.
