MEXICO CITY/WASHINGTON – Monday saw the U.S. ask Mexico to examine whether workers at an automobile parts plant operated by Stellantis (an Italian-French automotive manufacturer) were not entitled under the North American trade agreements.

U.S. Trade Representative’s Office requested the Labor Department to investigate Teksid hierro de Mexico at the north border state of Coahuila. This was the fourth U.S. Labor complaint under 2020 United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement.
