LONDON (Reuters] – Boris Johnson, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, promised that lawmakers would have a fresh economic plan next week. The promise was made by Johnson after he addressed his party prior to a vote of no confidence.

Sources claimed that Johnson had also pledged to reduce taxes if elected, and warned legislators against turning against one another or trapping them in a Groundhog Day-like’ scenario.

“He didn’t promise a specific tax cut, but the chancellor (Rishi Sunak) and him will lay out the plan for growth next week and you will get the broad outline of the prime minister’s vision across the board and the broad economic picture,” the source told reporters after the meeting.
