It was announced on Tuesday that DocuSign (NASDAQ 🙂 and Microsoft have expanded their global strategic alliance.

DocuSign stated that the company’s move to speed up collaboration and reach agreements anywhere in the world will result in DocuSign joining forces to offer new integrations to customers and enhance their ability to manage and prepare cloud-based agreements.

DocuSign CEO Dan Springer said, “Microsoft plays a critical role in our vision to streamline the agreement process for all our customers wherever work is done.”

These new features include DocuSign eSignatures to Microsoft Teams, DocuSign eSignatures to Microsoft 365 and DocuSign eSignatures to Microsoft Word.

This deal will allow Microsoft and DocuSign to expand their use of each others’ products in their respective organizations.

“Our collaboration with DocuSign enhances our ability to help our customers bring the agreement processes directly into the flow of work,” said Judson Althoff, EVP & Chief Commercial Officer at Microsoft.

DocuSign shares rose by more than 4 percent during Tuesday’s session. They also gained 3.7% in extended trades following the announcement. Microsoft stock increased 1.4% in regular trading.
