The index fell 0.69% at the Paris close.
Compagnie de Saint Gobain SA was among the top performers at the end of the session. It rose 1.81%, or 0.99 point to trade at 55.72 by the close. Veolia Environnement VE SA – EPA: climbed 1.43%, or 0.38 points, to close at 26.99 Thales In late trade, the EPA was at 115.70 with a 0.70 point increase.
Dassault Systemes SE, which lost 0.92 points or 2.31% to trade at 38.66 at closing, were the worst-performing session. Publicis Groupe SA (EPA:) declined 1.73% or 0.90 points to end at 51.00 and L’Oreal SA (EPA:) was down 1.73% or 5.75 points to 327.35.

The August Gold Futures were up 0.544%, or 10.50 to $1853.70 per troy ounce. Other commodities traded included Crude oil, which rose 0.81 or 0.68 to reach $119.31/barrel, and August Brent oil, which rose 0.85% or 1.02 for $120.53/barrel.
EUR/USD was stable at 0.06%, 1.07 and EUR/GBP unaffected at 0.40% and 0.85.
