Justin Aversano’s Quantum opens physical NFT gallery in LA

The city of California has witnessed the grand opening of its latest art facility “Quantum (NASDAQ:) Space LA,” co-founded by well-known NFT photographer Justin Aversano. But here’s the interesting twist.

Quantum Space LA is located at the famous Third Street Promenade, Santa Monica. It’s the latest of a rising trend in physical NFT galleries that allow artists to display digital works in real-world environments.

Aversano, best known for being the brain behind the highly sought-after “Twin Flames” NFT photography collection, introduced his newest project “Doppelgänger” at the grand opening of the gallery.

The Doppelgänger collection consists of 1,000 spinoffs from the Twin Flames set, and follows the artist’s pattern of transforming images of twins into NFT collectibles.

The Santa Monica opening was announced only in April before the grand opening. But the Quantum Art NFT, a photography-centric NFT, was launched by Aversano last fall. It raised $7.5million this February.

Quantum Space LA, a community hub of 3800 sq.ft. The space features an NFT gallery minting center store, immersion room, and an exclusive collectors’ lounge for Quantum Key holders.

Large flat-screen TVs featuring the artwork of different digital artists have been displayed in the gallery. Aversano’s works collected from all over the world are projected onto large hanging curtains in the center of the space. Aversano stated the following during the ceremonial opening:

Twin Flames was the main reason Quantum came to be. Twin Flames and its community inspired me to encourage other photographers.

The Santa Monica gallery’s opening was an experiment. He said that it would be the first of many such exhibitions in the future.

Next year we plan on opening one per month. […]Our goal is to create 20 to 50 places around the world.

Aversano claims that the rental of the gallery space was paid for by money earned from the sale in advance NFT key minting keys. Quantum Keys to the LA Location were issued in March. They now cost 4.15 ETH ($7.700) and are available on secondary markets.
