According to a statement released by Samsung (KS:) on Tuesday, the tech giant’s US arm has created a new Discord server to support its Web3 activities, joining the ranks of several others that are already exploring the space.

The launch of Samsung 837X in Decentraland was a success. Samsung Superstar Galaxy and Samsung 837X on Roblox were also successful. On June 7, the official Samsung US Discord server, 8:37 am ET, will go live. It is a virtual destination that allows consumers to connect with each other and create a network of creators. Within 24 hours of the announcement, over 6000 members had joined the server. According to announcements, members who joined within 24 hours of the announcement received OG roles. Other participants will receive random product giveaways every day between June 7-10.

This multinational conglomerate of manufacturing has taken significant steps to improve its Web3 efforts. Samsung Electronics (OTC) America joined the metaverse by partnering with Ethereum-based virtual world platform Decentraland. It also announced earlier in the year that it will support NFTs with its 2022 television lineup.

Samsung created a virtual store to replace its flagship 837 store. However, the actual store can be found at 837 Washington Street, New York City’s Meatpacking District. Samsung 837X is a virtual store that will be available in Decentraland, but only for a brief time.
