(Reuters) – Tesla, (NASDAQ:) Inc is unable to pause a California civil Rights Agency’s lawsuit alleging widespread racial discrimination at an Assembly Plant. Separately, it challenges the agency’s ability as employers can sue. A judge ruled that Wednesday.

California Superior Court Judge Evilio Grillo, Oakland stated that Tesla can pursue claims that the state Department of Fair Employment and Housing did not meet certain requirements prior to suing it in February. However, he said that it would not be appropriate for Tesla to stay the lawsuit.
