France stock lower after close of trade. CAC 40 is down by 1.40%

Investing.com – France stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The index dropped 1.39% at the Paris close.

They were the top performers at the session Euroapi SAS (EPA) rose 2.24%, or 0.32 points, to close at 14.51. AXA SA (+0.32%) or 0.08 points added to close at 23.41. Compagnie Generale des Etablissements was also up 0.2%. Michelin Late trade saw SCA (EPA 🙂 rise 0.12% to 121.10, or 0.15 points.

ArcelorMittal SA(AS:), the worst performer of the session, fell 4.54% (or 1.36 points) to trade at 28.50 by the close. WFD Unibail Rodamco NV (AS 🙂 lost 3.49% to trade at 61.58 Safran SA (EPA) dropped 3.07%, or 3.01 points, to 95.07.

Electricite de France SA, (EPA;) rose 6.32% up to 8.62 and Euroapi SAS (EPA) was up 2.24%. It settled at 14.51. Spie SA gained 1.46%.

Atos SE, (EPA:), which fell 7.75% to 23,09 in late trading was the worst performer. Eramet SA (EPA]) fell 7.04% to settle in 125.50. Altarea SCA: (EPA:), was down 6.02% and closed at 137.40.

On the Paris Stock Exchange, falling stocks outnumbered advancing by 358 to 192, and ended unaffected.

The was unchanged at 0.00% and 18.96, an all-time 52 week high.

For August delivery, Gold Futures fell 0.29% (or 5.45) to $1.851.05 per troy-ounce. Other commodities traded included Crude oil, which fell 0.45% to $121.66 a bar in July, and August Brent oil, which fell 0.24 to $123.28 per barrel.

EUR/USD dropped 0.58%, to 1.07; EUR/GBP remained unchanged at 0.35.

At 103.02, the US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.46%.
