(Reuters) – Two potato fries and a hamburger will appear on the old logo for Russian McDonald’s, said the local company as it revealed an advertisement campaign in advance of its official reopening Sunday.

McDonald’s Corp (NYSE 🙂 announced in May that it would be selling Russia’s McDonald’s restaurants to one of its licensees. This will allow them to rebrand under a different name.

According to the press release, “The logo represents the main symbols of the restaurant: Two yellow potato fries (with a yellow-orange bun) and two yellow potatoes.”

“The green background of the logo represents quality in products and service, which guests are used too.”

Alexander Govor is the new Russian owner of McDonald’s Russia. His goal is to reopen all McDonald’s locations in 2 months, and expand to 1,000 restaurants from 850.

Russia’s antimonopoly service approved the acquisition. According to the Golden Arches symbol, McDonald’s is allowed to purchase its Russia restaurants within the next 15 years.
