Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The closing in Tel Aviv saw the decline of 1.08%.

They were the top performers at the session Shapir Engineering Industry (TAS:) traded at 2,750.00, or 1.85%, after rising 50.00 points. Meanwhile, OPC Energy Ltd (TASE) gained 1.84%, or 64.00 points, to close at 3,550.00. Nice Ltd (TASE) was up 1.45% (990.00) to 69.310.00 in late trading.

These were the worst performers of the session. Israel Corp TASE:, which dropped 5.40% (9610.00 points) to close at 168.390.00 The Big Shopping Centers Ltd. (TASE): declined 5.08%, or 2,300.00 points, to finish at 43,000.00 ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd. (TASE:), was 4.99% lower or 181.00 more points at 3,445.00

By 338 to 138, falling stocks outnumbered those in the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, and by 40 it ended unaffected.

The July delivery of crude oil fell 0.3%, or 0.77, to $121.34 per barrel. Brent oil fell 0.61 or 0.49 to $122.97 per barrel. Meanwhile, the August Gold Futures contract dropped 0.34%, or 6.40, to $1,850.10 an ounce.

The USD/ILS exchange rate was up 0.7% at 3.36 while the EUR/ILS exchange rate rose by 0.1% to 3.57.

At 103.04, the US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.49%.
