JERUSALEM (Reuters] – On Thursday, the Twitter (NYSE) account representing the U.S. diplomatic representation to Palestinians was given a new name. It signals a possible improvement in ties prior to President Joe Biden’s visit to the area.

At the Twitter handle @USPalAffairs, the former “Palestinian Affairs Unit”, (PAU), within the U.S. Embassy has been renamed as “U.S. Office of Palestinian Affairs In Jerusalem”.

The U.S. spokespersons did not immediately comment on this change.
