Apple’s Cook urges U.S. lawmakers to pass federal privacy law -Breaking

(Reuters) – Apple Inc (NASDAQ) Chief Executive Tim Cook wrote a request to a number of U.S. legislators on Friday asking for federal privacy legislation to be passed, according to Reuters.
The letter was addressed to the U.S. Senate’s and House of Representatives who were working on privacy legislation. It stated that “We strongly urge” you to move forward comprehensive privacy legislation.
