WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – U.S. President Joe Biden called on Congress Friday to adopt legislation to reduce the cost of shipping and prescription drugs, as well as energy bills. His statement came after U.S. inflation recorded its largest increase in 41 years.
“I ask Congress to approve a bill to reduce shipping costs, and to get it to mine, so that the cost of goods can be lower. Biden released a statement requesting Congress to approve legislation that will reduce the cost of prescription drugs and energy bills for families.
