mRNA COVID vaccines do not cause absence of menstruation -Breaking

LONDON (Reuters – The European Union’s health regulator concluded that mRNACOVID-19 vaccines are safe and do not result in menstrual absence.

This assessment was initiated by menstrual issues reported after having received one or two shots either of these drugs. Moderna (NASDAQ:) Or the Pfizer BioNTech vaccines.

A variety of factors can cause menstrual disorders, which include underlying medical conditions, stress, tiredness and other health issues. According to health authorities, cases of COVID-19 infections have been also reported.

It is defined as not having menstruated for at least 90 days.

The European Medicines Agency’s Pharmacovigilance Risk Assessment Committee is continuing to investigate cases of heavy bleeding due to the vaccines.

After a Norwegian study, reports of heavy periods (bleeding that is more severe and/or longer than usual) were raised as concerns. This was after an increase in cases of this phenomenon in the aftermath of inoculation.

Friday’s statement by the PRAC indicated that all information available about the risk had been reviewed and requested an update from the vaccine companies regarding the cumulative review.
