PARIS (Reuters). Remy Cointreau is a French spirit group owned by the Heriard Dubreuil families. It announced on Friday that it would appoint Marie-Amelie de Leusse as its chair of the board in a family handover.
If shareholders approve this proposal at the annual meeting held July 21, de Leusse (44) will take over as chairman Marc Heriard Dubreuil (70).
According to the statement, “Following Francois Heriard Dubreuil’s chairships and Dominique Heriard Dubreuil’s chairships, Marc Heriard Dubreuil would have been in perfect accord with the generational transition of members of the Heriard Dubreuil clan on the board,”
De Leusse is vice-chair since July 2019. She also serves as deputy CEO for the family holding Andromede. Remy Cointreau’s controlling shareholder. Dominique Heriard Dubreuil is her daughter.
