Amazon influencer program is luring social media stars

Ryback claimed that she first started TikTok by posting content as “DealCheats”. Her videos were mainly focused on shopping and helping people find cheap knockoffs that they could buy at Amazon.

Ryback explained, “I became the personal TikTok shopper.”

Ryback began to realize that she had to expand her reach on other platforms as well. Ryback signed up for Amazon’s influencer programme and began streaming live five days per week. Each stream lasts an hour to two minutes.

Ryback promoted products such as an Apple Watch replica, an LED face light, and a Shiatsu foot masseuse on a recent stream. Amazon provides a list of instructions for stream creators. Each stream requires hours of preparation.

Ryback explained that it’s an entire production. “It’s a whole production, so I sweat a lot, and then my house looks warehouse-like because all the products are scattered around my home.”
