Biden says Senate negotiators in gun talks remain ‘mildly optimistic’ -Breaking

LOS ANGELES, (Reuters) – U.S. President Joe Biden stated on Saturday that Senate negotiators still trying to reach a compromise on minor measures to combat gun violence are “mildly optimist.”

After speaking to Democratic Senator Chris Murphy several times, he made this comment. Murphy is currently leading the negotiations.
