McDonald’s in Russia reopens under new ownership, renamed ‘Vkusno & tochka’ -Breaking
© Reuters. After McDonald’s Corp’s decision in Russia to sell its Russian restaurants to a local licensee, employees take part in the preparations for opening a new location.
(Reuters) – The first 15 restaurants of former McDonald’s Corp (NYSE:) will reopen in Moscow on Sunday under new ownership and a new name, “Vkusno & tochka”, which means “Tasty & that’s it”, the company said.
Another 50 restaurants will be open on Monday, Vkusno & tochka said.
Russian fast-food fans will see a brighter future on Sunday when restaurants that were once owned by McDonald’s will reopen with new branding.
