BERLIN, (Reuters) – Germany’s cartel office has begun to investigate Apple (NASDAQ)’s tracking rules for third-party app users. This is in an effort to find out if they are giving the U.S. tech company preferential treatment or hindering other companies.

Apple spokesmen said they would cooperate constructively with the cartel to address any concerns and talk about their approach to tracking rules.
