BRUSSELS (Reuters). Reuters has learned that Apple is facing a second fine for failing to fully comply with an order to allow its App Store rival payment methods for Dutch dating apps.

As ACM (Authority for Consumers and Markets), has been slapping weekly fines of 5 million Euros to the iPhone maker since January, the nineth penalty was handed this week.

Apple (NASDAQ) presented a new proposal to ACM this week to try to stop the sanctions. A Dutch official, who declined to identify himself, said that the offer did not comply fully with its order.

ACM Rules allow for additional fines to be added once the penalty total reaches 50,000,000 euros.

Apple requires its developers to use the system, and they pay 15-30% commissions on all digital goods purchased. The company is currently under scrutiny from regulators around the globe.

ACM launched a 2019 investigation into whether Apple’s market dominance was being abused. Later, the scope of this investigation was reduced to focus on Tinder and other dating apps. Match Group Inc (NASDAQ:).

ACM alleges that Apple has abused its market position and has forced it to cease this abuse. Apple has denied market abuse.

Apple, the European Commission, EU countries and EU lawmakers agreed Thursday to tough new rules. Apple is required to launch its App Store when the October legislation goes into effect.
