2nd vaccine booster significantly lowers COVID death rate -Breaking

JERUSALEM (Reuters) – Senior citizens who received a second booster of the Pfizer–BioNTech COVID-19 vaccination had a 78% lower mortality rate from the disease than those who got one only, a study from Israel showed on Sunday.

Clalit Health Services was the country’s biggest healthcare provider. It said that the study covered more than half of a million individuals aged 60-100.

A second booster was given to 58% of the participants, or two additional shots. All others had only received one booster. The first group died of 92, while the second group suffered from 232 deaths.

Ronen Arbel (Health Outcomes Researcher, Clalit College) stated: “The major conclusion is that the 2nd booster is lifesaving.”
