ZURICH (Reuters), – Since Russia’s attack on Ukraine, 1,119 civilians have been killed and 1,790 injured.

The United Nations stated that 15 children, 32 girls, and 52 children of unknown sex were among those who died in the conflict. This statement covered the time period from February 24th to March 26th.

It is expected that the true death toll will be much higher than this, according to the world body. There are reports being delayed in areas where there are intense hostilities, but many other reports are still required for confirmation.

According to the United Nations, this was particularly true around Mariupol’s southern port.

According to the United Nations, most civilian deaths were due to explosive weapons that have a large impact area. This includes shelling from heavy artillery, multiple-launch rocket system, missile, and air strikes.
