REUTERS/Ralph OrlowskiBERLIN, (Reuters) – A possible listing for Porsche AG may be delayed by the conflict with Ukraine, which is currently scheduled for the fourth quarter. This was stated Tuesday by Porsche SE’s finance chief.
Johannes Lattwein stated that “if the conflict continues for a longer period, we cannot exclude the possibility that this could have possible implications on the listing.” He spoke at a press conference marking the release of the annual results.
Nevertheless, all parties were determined to complete the IPO in the fourth quarter and establish Porsche AG as a good investment on capital markets. Hans Dieter Poetsch, Porsche SE Chairman, added that they had been working tirelessly.
Volkswagen (DE) released a framework agreement that would outline the design of an IPO for the maker of sportscars in February. However, a decision has yet to be made.
