AmazonAlexa’s voice assistant for Alexa will inform users about items that are on sale.

Amazon announced that Alexa would notify Prime customers 24 hours before sales for items on their Amazon shopping cart and Amazon wish lists. This feature is compatible with the fourth generation Echo smart speakers, and older.

Alexa can alert customers when a product is on sale. If an item goes on sale the Amazon Echo will show a yellow ring. This lets users know to ask Alexa. The smart devices can also be used by consumers to ask Alexa about sales and order products on their behalf.

Customers can save time by using this feature to prepare for large sales such as Prime Day. Amazon also uses the Echo device to encourage people to purchase more Amazon products.

To use this feature, you must enable deal recommendations. You can turn off the Alexa app by clicking on “more,” then “notifications,” and “Amazon shopping”, then “shopping suggestions.”
