(Reuters) – A crucial part of U.S. yield curve was inverted in Asia on Friday morning according to Tradeweb data. The two-year U.S. Treasury bond yield rose over the 10-year benchmark yield.

This was the first inverted yield curve since September 2019 for this part. On Thursday, it was inverted once more in U.S. trading.

A significant indicator that recession may be coming is an inversion in the 10-year- and two-year segments of the curve.
