Aid for Ukraine is a joint effort by the Ukrainian government and FTX, Everstake, Kuna in order to raise crypto donations for Ukraine.ETHVitalik Buterin (co-founder) donated $5,000,000 in ETH funds to Ukraine during April. The entity claims that Buterin didn’t make any announcement about the transaction despite his large donation. The Ethereum Name Service domain “vitalik.eth” was used to link it to Buterin, which served as the source of the transaction.

A quarter of the $5million in donations was sent directly to Aid for Ukraine. The other half was donated to Unchain Fund.
