MILAN (Reuters). Several leading investor advisors recommended that shareholders of Generali (MI) support the recommendation by the Italian insurance’s outgoing board, to give CEO Philippe Donnet another term as head. Documents were revealed on Saturday.

Two proxy advisors, Institutional Shareholder Services and Glass Lewis recommended that shareholders vote in support of the list of nominees made by the current board.

Rebel investor has challenged Donnet’s reappointment.
