U.S.-India trade forum holds ‘substantial promise’ to expand trade, reduce barriers -USTR -Breaking

WASHINGTON (Reuters] – U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai met Subrahmanyam Jaishankar from India External Affairs Ministry on Tuesday. Both agreed to the recently relaunched U.S. India Trade Policy Forum, Tai said.

Tai spoke with Sarah Bianchi, one of Tai’s deputies. They discussed bilateral trade relations as well as the consequences of Russia’s war on Ukraine for global commerce and economic development, USTR stated in a statement.
