Golden State Warriors launch entertainment division, will feature BamBam

Hollywood is the next home for The Golden State Warriors.

Golden State Entertainment was launched Monday by the Northern California NBA. New divisions will be able to produce licensed content, music and host non-basketball live events throughout the Bay Area.

David Kelly (the team’s highest-ranking legal executive) will be the chief business officer.

Kelly stated that Warriors would like to use their brand other than sports and “tell the stories people who shape culture and move cultures”, Kelly explained to CNBC.

The Warriors know that storytelling is something they are passionate about.
