(Reuters) ANA Holdings Inc, a Japanese airline, raised Friday its full year operating loss estimate from 125 billion yen to 175 billion yen ($1.37billion) due to a lack of domestic and international revenues.

Airline ended its fiscal year March 31. It cited Omicron virus of coronavirus, continuing border restrictions, and increasing fuel costs as factors that affected its estimation.

Rival Japan Airways Co Ltd indicated last week that they expect to report a greater full-year deficit than their previous forecasts for similar reasons.

ANA surprised the market in the third quarter with a modest operating profit. This was its first after the outbreak.

Friday, ANA reported that international cargo revenues were strong in the fourth-quarter.
