ISS backs call for emissions reductions targets at Occidental Petroleum -Breaking

(Reuters) – Institutional Shareholder Services, a top proxy advisor recommended that Occidental Petroleum Corp. (NYSE:) shareholders vote for a shareholder proposal that would require the company to publish emission reduction targets and set them.

A spokesman for ISS stated Monday that investors would be able to obtain additional information about the interim measures taken by the company to reach its net-zero target by 2050 and how it intends to allocate capital to achieve this goal.
