Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

Paris closed with the gain of 0.98% and the index climbing by 0.97%.

These were the best performers of the session Worldline SA (EPA:), rose 6.77% to 38.16, or 2.42 point at the close. In late trade, Dassault Systemes SE – EPA: climbed 5.72% to 42.72. Capgemini SE – EPA: was up 5.15% to 196.10.

WFD Unibail Rodamco NV – (AS:) fell 4.25%, or 3.00 points, to close at 67.66. Pernod Ricard SA (EPA:), fell 1.02% (2.00 points) to reach 193.50. ArcelorMittal SA, AS: was at 27.75.

Top performers in the SBF 120 competition were Albioma SA (EPA) rose 15.91% and reached 50.70 Soitec SA (EPA) was at 164.50, up 7.03%; Worldline SA (EPA) gained 6.77% to reach 38.16.

Solutions 30 SE (EPA) was the worst performer, falling 16.65% to 5.29 late trade. Eramet SA (EPA:), which fell 9.60%, settled at 127.10 Valneva (EPA:), which fell 4.73% to 11.89 by the end.

The Paris Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpass declining ones by 312 to 244, while 80 ended the same.

Albioma SA’s shares increased to their 5-year peak; an increase of 15.91% (or 6.96 to 50.70).

The June delivery of Gold Futures was 0.1% higher or 0.25 at $1,888.95 per troy ounce. Other commodities traded included Crude oil, which rose by 2.21 percent or 2.25 to reach $104.27/barrel, and the July Brent Oil contract, which rose 1.59 or 1.67 to trade for $106.62/barrel.

EUR/USD was steady at 0.4% to 1.05 while EUR/GBP was constant at 0.31% to 0.84.

US Dollar Index Futures were up 0.6% at 103.58
