SHANGHAI (Reuters) – Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:) China’s market regulator announced Friday that it is recalling 14.684 Model 3 cars, both imported and local-made in China. This was due to software issues that may lead to collisions.

Tesla will recall Model 3 Performance vehicles manufactured between January 2019 and February 2022. These include 1,850 imports from China, 12834 in China, and Tesla’s Model 3 Performance models. According to a State Administration for Market Regulation statement, Tesla will also recall Model 3 Performance cars.
