(Reuters] – In remarks focused on inflation on Tuesday, President Joe Biden is expected to draw a distinction between his and the Republican economic plans.
Biden, a Democrat suffering from low approval ratings ahead of the November midterm election, has intensified his criticisms against Republicans in recent week, disparaging, for instance, President Donald Trump’s MAGA “Make America Great Again” movement.
Biden will present his plans to combat inflation on Tuesday and “contrast him with Congressional Republicans’ ultra-MAGA proposal to raise taxes for 75 million American families, threaten to end Social Security and Medicare,” the official stated.
Biden attacked the Republican U.S. last week. According to Senator Rick Scott’s economic proposal, it would raise taxes for 75 millions Americans, who earn less than $100,000 annually. Scott said that he intended to reduce taxes and is now leading Republican efforts in getting Republicans elected to Congress.
