WASHINGTON (Reuters] -The U.S. Senate Democrats reached an agreement to fund $39.8 billion more aid for Ukraine. This is in addition to President Joe Biden’s request for $33 trillion last month.

Sources indicated that the House of Representatives might vote on the plan Tuesday.

Sources said that a proposal to add COVID-19-related funds, which was wanted by some Democrats, would now be considered separate.

Biden requested $33Billion from Congress on 28 April to help Ukraine. This includes over $20Billion in military assistance. The proposal was an escalation in U.S. financing for the Kyiv Government’s War with Russia.

According to sources, the proposal now includes $3.4 BILLION in additional military assistance and $3.4 BILLION for humanitarian aid.
