Toyota to suspend morning shift in one Japanese factory due to water supply -Breaking

REUTERS/Anushree FadnavisTOKYO, Reuters Toyota Motor (NYSE) Corp has announced that it will stop vehicle production in one of its plants following a significant industrial water supply disruption in central Japan. A spokesperson for the company said Wednesday.
According to a spokesperson, Toyota Industries Corp will stop operating the morning shift at its Nagakusa facility in Toyota Industries (OTC) Corp on Thursday. This will reduce the production of approximately 600 vehicles.
A water cut at an auto part factory caused the halt, said a spokesperson.
Over 130 businesses were directly affected, including many in the auto industry.
