Exclusive-EU set to clear Volkswagen’s Europcar deal without conditions

BRUSSELS: EU antitrust regulators should approve the Volkswagen-led consortium’s bid for Europcar worth 2.9 billion Euro ($3 Billion), people familiar with it said.

Volkswagen (ETR:), teamed up last year with Dutch mobility group Pon Holdings BV, and asset manager Attestor Limited to offer Europcar in France. The bid was a wager on rapidly-growing mobility services.
