(Reuters) – Newsmax’s veteran anchor Greta Vand Susteren will host a weeknight program from Washington, D.C., Newsmax announced Monday.

The hour-long show, “The Record with Greta Van Susteren,” is set to premiere on June 14, and lead the network’s weeknight lineup.

Van Susteren is a trained lawyer. He rose to national fame as a legal analysis providing insights on the O.J. Simpson murder trial.

Her shows were broadcast on CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC. Recently, she was the host of a Sunday morning television show on Gray and was also a contributor for Voice of America.

Newsmax rose to prominence in the 2020 election as President Donald Trump promoted the network through social media. He also expressed his anger at Fox News, which he said was the first to predict Joe Biden’s win in key Arizona state.
