Acerinox’s board ends merger talks with Aperam -Breaking

REUTERS/Wolfgang RattayMADRID (Reuters – Spanish steelmaker Acerinox voted Monday unanimously to terminate preliminary discussions with Aperam regarding a potential merger, according to a submission to Spanish regulators.
Last week, the two companies stated that they were in talks to merge.
Acerinox’s shares fell 3.7% after the disclosure of the ending of the merger talks.
