(Reuters.) – San Francisco’s residents voted to recall District Attorney Chesa Bourdin on Tuesday, Edison Research forecasts. The vote was held in a national election viewed by the nation as a referendum against violent crime.

The recall initiative was initiated by residents who blame Boudin’s progressive policies on a rise in gun violence during the COVID-19 epidemic. London Breed (a Democrat) will replace Boudin in this liberal California city.
