Germany stocks lower at close of trade; DAX down 0.76% -Breaking

Investing.com – Germany stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

Frankfurt closed with the index falling 0.76% and Frankfurt losing 0.70% respectively. The index also fell 0.26 percent.

Sartorius AG VZO O.N. was the best performer of the session. (ETR:), rose 2.30%, or 8.60 points, to trade at 383.10 by the close. Meanwhile, HelloFresh SE (ETR 🙂 climbed 2.27% to 36.47, or 0.81 points. PumaSE (ETR 🙂 rose 2.09% to 72.38 or 1.48 in late trade.

These were the worst performers of the session. Deutsche Post AG NA O.N. (ETR) fell by 3.67%, or 1.40 points, to close at 36.90. Deutsche Telekom AG Na (ETR) fell 2.45%, or 0.47 point to close at 18.68. Allianz SE VNA O.N. (ETR:), was at 2.33% and 4.58 points lower than 191.58.

Gerresheimer AG, (ETR) was the top performer on MDAX. It rose by 3.42% and reached 72.60. Siltronic AG (ETR) which rose 2.39% to settle in at 91.95 Rheinmetall AG (ETR 🙂 gained 2.17% and closed at 211.70

They were among the most disappointing. Telefonica Deutschland Holding AG (ETR:) which was down 9.54% to 2.71 in late trade, K&S AG (ETR:) which lost 4.67% to settle at 25.10 and Befesa SA (ETR) was at 58.75, down 3.9% from the previous close.

The TecDAX’s top performers were Morphosys AG O.N. (ETR) rose 5.45% to 21,30. Siltronic AG was also up at ETR:, which settled at 91.95. Sartorius AG VZO O.N. (ETR) which gained 2.3% to close at 383.10.

Telefonica Deutschland Holding AG was among the worst-performing companies, falling 9.54% at 2.71 in late trading. Deutsche Telekom AG Na (ETR;) fell 2.45% to settle for 18.68. No cost for internet AG NA (ETR :), which fell 2.43% to 24,10.10 by the end.

The Frankfurt Stock Exchange saw falling stocks surpass advancing stock by 344 to 333, while 88 ended the same.

EUR/USD stood at 1.07 and was unaffected by 0.23%, while EUR/GBP rose to 0.85 and 0.60% respectively.
