FRANKFURT, (Reuters) – The European Central Bank shouldn’t rush to increase its monetary policy because that would put at risk the economic recovery of the Euro zone and could cost jobs. This was Christine Lagarde, President of the ECB.

Spiegel, a German magazine, quoted Lagarde as saying that “premature tightening the monetary policy at this juncture could endanger both the economic healing in the Euro area and the cost of jobs.”
