MintGreen, Canada’s cleantech cryptocurrency miner will join forces with Lonsdale Energy Corporation, to deliver heat to North Vancouver, British Columbia residents, beginning in 2022.

MintGreen announced its plans for Thursday. its “digital boilers” — which it claims can recover more than 96% of the electricity used for (BTC) mining — will prevent 20,000 metric tons of greenhouse gases per megawatt from entering the atmosphere during its arrangement with North Vancouver. With a population around 155,000, the Canadian city will use its recovered energy to heat 100 homes and businesses.
