Supreme Court will consider fast track appeal of Texas abortion law

On Monday, the Supreme Court granted a request by abortion rights advocates and providers for them to consider quickly taking up their challenge to a Texas restrictive law banning most abortions within six weeks.
The petitioners last month had submitted the unusual requestFor the Supreme Court, to accept the case prior to final judgment by lower courts.
The court ordered the respondent to the case that they file a reply by Thursday noon.
