Facebook (NASDAQ:) released Monday’s third quarter report. It beat analysts’ forecasts but saw revenue fall short of what was expected.

Facebook posted earnings per share (EPS) of $3.22 based on $29.01B in revenue. Investing.com polled analysts and predicted EPS at $3.19 for revenue $29.58B.

While Facebook shares have increased 20% since the start of the year they are still 14.41% below its 52-week high of $384.33, which was set September 1, 2012. These shares are roughly in line with those which have increased 20.37% since the beginning of the year.

After-hours trading on Facebook saw a drop of 0.89% for Facebook shares following the news.

Facebook tracks other important earnings from the Technology sector this month

Facebook reports on Taiwan Semiconductor’s earnings beat on October 14. They reported an EPS report of $1.07 for revenue $14.75B. This compares to the forecasts of an EPS estimate of $1.04 for revenue $14.81B.

Danaher exceeded expectations Thursday by posting a $2.39 third-quarter EPS on revenues of $7.23B. That compares with the $2.15 forecasted for revenue of $7B.
