The complaint was brought in Albany by a spokesman from the New York State Courts.
Lucian Chalfen, the spokesperson, stated that this was a sex offense and that a redacted complaint would be made available in a short email statement.
Cuomo spokespeople were not available immediately for comment.
Cuomo was resigned in August as governor following a period of 10 1/2 years.
His departure followed a probe https://www.reuters.com/world/us/new-york-governor-cuomo-resigns-after-sexual-harassment-findings-2021-08-10 that found that Cuomo had sexually harassed 11 women.
Letitia James of New York, Attorney General said that a five month independent investigation found that Cuomo engaged in conduct which violated state and federal laws.
