This move will enable (XRPThe native tokens allow holders of XRP to access Decentralized Finance, also known as DeFi. This includes smart contracts, lending and borrowing, trading altcoins and more. The network currently can handle only sending, receiving, and holding XRP.

Wrapped tokens, digital currencies that are stored in digital vaults and run on their own blockchain, can be digital currency. Wrapped tokens that are notable include Wrapped, which runs on Ethereum’s blockchain, and Wrapped Ethereum which converts Ethereum to ERC-20 standards. The exchange rate for wXRP with XRP is 1:1, and custody would be provided by Hex Trust.
